Pink Couch Fantasy

Things I Want From IKEA is an ongoing series of small works on paper about desire and dreams of a nice home. Started as a joke, these quick and crude sketches have become a crucial research component to my studio practice, exploring normative desires, objecthood and thingness, consumption, and sincerity.

Pink Couch Fantasy is a series of watercolors imposing a very personal desire to see a series of couches from the 2018 IKEA Catalogue come in shades of pink.
